Choosing the Right Size.

.Choosing the correct size is important for both comfort and
effectiveness. The LiteBite fits loose so they can move it around and not feel
trapped.

- **Mini**  

  Suitable for miniature horses and very small ponies. Click here to buy Mini

- **Pony**  

  Suitable for smaller ponies and finer heads. My Welsh Sec A is this

- **Cob**  

  Ideal for small to medium horses. This is for my Connemara 14.2hh Skye, an average cob. Click here to buy Cob

- **Horse**  

  Designed for average to larger horses. We have an 18hh draft in this

Measurements around nose 1 inch 2.5cm below the cheek bone,
(approx) also bit sizes.

Mini - under 14 inches 35cm   Bit size:  3.5
to 4 inches  9 tp 10 cm

Pony - 15 to 17 inches 38 to 43cm   Bit
size:  4.½ to 4¾ inches   10.5 to 12 cm

Cob  - 17 to 22 inches    Bit size:  4¾
to 5¼ inches    12 to 13.5 cm

Horse - 23 inches up (they can go to Draft size)  Bit
size:  6 inches up 12.5 cm up

 

The LiteBite muzzle should:

- Sit comfortably without rubbing  

- Allow free breathing and drinking  

- Stay secure without being tight
